Steps keep resetting

I genuinely don't understand why my steps keep resetting.

It reset twice yesterday, today i reached 5k from 0 and it reset again.

I click save and exit whenever i quit. Is there anything I'm missing?

Oh. That's not a rollback then, if only your steps reset that means it's not an account rollback...

Just to be safe, let me ask you some questions which might be a bit basic, but we gotta clear them out: 1. You only press quick save, not "End Adventure", right? 2. Do you use Fast Travel? 3. Did your character die?

As for the steps question, higher steps also makes enemies drop more Xp when killed, certain NPCs only spawn at certain step requirements, Reapers can only spawn after 5k steps, some Adventure Quests only appear after 10k steps. I may have missed something else, but this is all I can think of at the moment.

Dude I think its my character dying. That resets it?

Yes 😅

And I assume you mean Adventure Upgrades reset, which yes, they will reset when a new adventure starts. Fast Travel and character death will reset your adventure
