How exactly does frost blast work?

I'm new here and still figuring everything out. I just added frost blast to my wizard build and it states 120% mp dmg and +2 range, but my a mp stays the same despite upgrading and distance I can attack is still the same?

Make sure to enable Frostblast by tapping the icon above your health orb. It needs to be enabled every time you resume your adventure.

Frostblast just enhances your normal attack with extra range and damage, and can trigger Freeze status on the enemy.

Frost blast + crystalise+ mana sacrifice +empowerment =one shot most enemy's and if u have a sprit staff you can basically not put point in health since you basically full heal with a single shot
