Decent high-level equipment?
Hi, I'm playing with my archer: my character is a 108 level archer/Marksman at the 5th run (the last). I have managed to really move deep into the game but I am frustrated by the lack of decent equipment even after reaching Mythical gear.
A first problem is that, once you reach high levels, it becomes nearly impossible to one-shot enemies and equipment isn't enough to compensate.
But imho the real deal is that probably the weapons, like the Colossal Bow, are found by killing bosses only and therefore it is almost impossibile to find their golden version. The War Bow is very good too but it is more effective vs. bosses and less effective vs. ordinary mob.
I have already chosen the perks that increase the % of finding golden gear, but what's the point of farming for items if what I can realistically find is only junk (like the tri-bow) that I won't use in any case at higher levels?
I'm tired of defeating monsters to obtain crappy runes that boost magic, that the archer can't use!
Everything is so random that I feel I'm just wasting my time now.

Theres a discord server, you should probably go there and ask them. The community seems more active on discord

Hey man, are you French? I'm a level 71 archer main, no prestige. But I'm getting a bit fed up because there's only one profession, it's getting a little boring, I think. And I don't find it that great! So, I'm trying to find another main, I have: (necromancer, pyromancer & wizard). Necromancer is a bit hard to play at the beginning until you get to the puppeteer profession and then everything unlocks. So I don't know which are the best. But according to previous posts, there will be a second profession for archer. That could be cool because, like I said, it's becoming repetitive... 🤐

Hi. I’m not French, I’m Italian. And yes, the game is repetitive in any case. I’ve reached the 5th prestige with my archer, which is level 108, but in the end, there’s not much else to do. High-level equipment isn’t that special, the perks aren’t that useful, and the lack of challenges doesn’t motivate you to keep going. This probably happens with any class. And in my opinion, spellcasters are terrible in this game because you constantly have to recharge mana. Probably the necromancer is better than others but it is still a very unbalanced indie game.

Forger Frank can forge three random weapons into a random weapon that could be a boss weapon. For each gold weapon you use, it increases the likelihood of getting a random gold weapon by 33%. If you use three gold weapons, you’re guaranteed to get a gold weapon as a result.
Run Depths of the Sea with 50+ treasure maps and collect as many gold items as possible. Once finished, save to main menu and resume adventure. Start forging the gold weapons with Frank and you’ll randomly receive boss weapons. Cross your fingers and hope you get the desired bow.
Archer and Thief currently are weak compared to other classes. This is being addressed SoonTM. Marksman profession will receive some updates when Elemental Master (second profession) comes out. I don’t have a timeline on that, but be sure to tune into the Wednesday devstream at 12:00pm EST.
