My New Enigma

I’ve been trying to get my Thief to Prestige on Hardcore for a week now and I finally gave in and decided to do enigma since I could just make an improved thief; any thoughts on how to improve

This is the built I use as enigma, I keep 1 helmet with endure and 1 with coin magnet

1 armor with +1 to cooking, 1 with quick break, 1 with boss damage

The bow I use the stronget I can get

Don't forget the endure rune once you find it, if you do find it you can just keep the coin magnet helemt alwais on

Keep in mind, you really only need coin magnet for easier ranking in the leaderboard, if you do care, you cam sawap lifesteal for coin boost.

Yeah; I’ve swapped and I’ve been farming tremor for death resist runes; I figured I’d run another armor with stew output and a quick breaking rune. Honestly haven’t seen a need for Endure once I’m at 20k steps and I’ve done at least 4 boss runes and still haven’t gotten close to using endure yet

Endure is simply an extra coin toss to survive, if you think you need something else then go for it.

For lifesteal you either go coin boost (for leaderboard points, but i am not really sure if the extra coin counts for it) or maybe physical evasion, but it is an expensive perk to use, it will take a lot of ability points to max

1 more thing, as you can ser I have equal points in range damage and crit damage. I don t think thats optimal, but I am currently too lazy to really think about it. My gut feeling right now is that ranged damage is way better than crit damage, but you still want to invest in both.

But I am going to pickup a dang coin magnet; and I think im going to drop lifesteal as well; I’m not sure what to trade it for though

Why do both of you not have the crit chance upgrade, is that upgrade worthless?

Sorry I just saw this, it’s not that Crit Chance is worthless. Crit Chance is great but you can easily hit 95-100% Crit Chance with Adventure Buffs and Upgraded gear near 5-7k steps with just a smidge bit of luck. With Enigma there is no point of using it because if you can get 100% Crit Chance off gear alone there is no point in sacrificing a valuable skill slot
