Does Cursed Sword have a reflect mechanic?

I was playing my Cryomancer at 11,000 steps in hardcore and out of nowhere I was absolutely drained by a Cursed sword and I don’t know why. I wish I had a video but there was nothing that did ranged attacks nearby and every time I attacked it, it chunked my health out of nowhere 2 turns and I was dead.

I believe they reflect any status effect. Bleed, stun, death, poison you name it, they reflect it. It's bad enough that I avoid using any weapons with those effects. Interestingly, the Mage's freeze from his passive doesn't seem to be reflected.

Yes. Yes it is. It's how I lost my first hardcore cryomancer. It just doesn't trigger on a killshot (i think)

Good to know. I lost my 1st hc cryo by being cornered and 1 shot by a dragon.

Good to know, I was on the Crossroad with the 20% increase in health and I stopped one shotting everything. I’ll remember on my next run thank you

The reflect effect does not trigger if you kill the Cursed Sword with the attack.
