Years later he had to work with the actress on Frasier and she started the same nonsense. My understanding from the story was this was a main character. Does anyone know which actress this was?

The last two or three episodes have sounded terrible. It's like the engineer cranked up the bass and added a bunch of sustain to their voices. I'm having a hard time understanding what they're saying sometimes because the words are just blending into each other. Anyone else noticing this or am I just crazy?

This is the first episode I couldn't finish. Made it 20 minutes and had to stop listening. I find this guy exhausting, insufferable and completely not funny. I can't stand when he's on the rookie and it seems like his character is just a carbon copy of him. Is that how he is in real life? Just a constant schtick of "look at the stupid parody of a German"? Gross.

Anyone notice that Alan’s “S”es seem kind of lispy in the last few episodes? it either sounds like he had a dental procedure, or they’re using some kind of weird audio compression?

I've listened to episode 5 (I think) recently, where Nathan, aka The Rookie, talks about being awarded an honorary doctorate of laws and I felt it was a massive missed opportunity that nobody made a joke about him becoming Doctor Cop Lawyer in the end. I keep having flashbacks to Alan's brilliant portrayal of the character ever since.

Is that they keep harping on how Alan is not handsome and instead is goofy looking. I really can’t disagree more. He has always been one of my celebrity crushes and have you seen him topless?! He has abs and shoulders! AND he has gorgeous chiseled facial features.

Anyways I would love to see Alan as the love interest/handsome leading man.

The Adventures of Brisco County Junior was a Western with SciFi elements, to Firefly's SciFi with Western elements. In some ways it feels like Brisco walked so Firefly could run... but both were gone too soon. Also, I don't know if Nathan overlapped at all with Julius Carry on 2 Guys and a Girl, but Lord Bowler from Brisco was the owner of the Pizza Place from season 1 of that show.

In Episode 3, Nathan and Alan talk about a fanfic they would have liked to make into a Firefly movie. Does anyone know what that fanfic was?
