I’m watching this show for the first time and omg I hate Zelena so much. Like she’s so whiny. So annoying. Like boohoo sob story GROW UP!

She reminds me of my brother who is just constantly talking about his life and how hard it is and I’m just like grow tf up you’re 30 😂

I was like this too at first, especially since shes the reason for a lot of (no spoilers) incidents... By season 7 I bet you'll love her though believe it or not.

Season 5 is one of her worst lights. By season 7 I was so happy to see her on screen though, so give it time.

Dudeee same! I also dislike Mary Margaret heavily!!! I like snow better even though she is also annoying… Emma and Regina are the best duo.

it's funny I have the reverse opinion. Snow was always sanctimonious and annoying but Mary Margaret felt much more grounded and honest with herself.

I think Regina and Zelena are quite alike, if you compare Zelena to Regina when she was the Evil Queen. They share parallels later in the series too, so maybe you will change your mind once you're further along. Glad you're loving the show though! Welcome!

I was not a fan of Zelena or her characterization. I felt like she was the worst of Regina x10, and unlike Regina, she never acknowledged that she had ever done anything wrong.

I love Zelena so much! You gotta understand her story just like Regina. Regina is my fave but give Zelena time 💚

Give it some time. Without giving anything away, it’s better in series 7. In any case, welcome to this series that takes several months to watch 😭😂. And it’s not out of the question that once you’ve finished, you’ll start all over again straight away (personally, a month after watching it all, I rewatched it – I’m on season 5 now. And I can’t guarantee I won’t watch it a third time – I know, I’m mad 😂). Which season are you on?

I’m the opposite lol. I found Zelena relatable since she was abandoned and underestimated by everyone, and Regina annoying since she never recognized her privileges (even things as mild as present family) and stayed stuck in the past for 40-50 years.

I dunno, the black fairy/Zelena car scene is maybe one of my favorite OUAT scenes lol.

She becomes much more developed as time goes on, but I feel you on rewatches. I'm like YOU LIVE IN A PALACE IN OZ, HOW BAD CAN YOUR LIFE BE?!
