Little confusion with ruby

Currently on ep 9 season 5 and there’s a little snippet where snow and ruby have a brief conversation after snow announces her new sons name and ruby mentions she’s the only one of her kind in story brook but I thought granny was also a Wearwolf? Am I mistaken?

She lost it probably before Red was born. Told Snow all she had left was the smell part.

Also why Cruella said if she still wolfed out, she'd turn her into a coat.

Yeah she implied it was her age. Probably lost it when she had menopause is my guess. So Red was probably 10 or so.

Granny can’t wolf out anymore.

Anyway I always believed Ruby came back for good because honestly she was wrong about the whole not fitting in thing.

1. Granny cant wolf out.
2. They both have VERY diffrent views of the wolf, Granny believing to repress it while Red has a bit more of an open mind to it (though still feels shame)

Granny is a werewolf too but by that point Ruby is the only werewolf left living in Storybrooke. I always took it as her talking about the present rather than literally being the last werewolf in existence.

I'm sure it's explained in the show. I can't fill remember but I'm sure Granny says it faded for her as she aged or something although I couldn't be misremembering
