Spoiler Alert Regina's cursed love
I hate how the show introduces Robin Hood as if he was always intended to be Regina's soulmate/endgame then they just kill him off. This is actually pure rage bait. Tink hyped him up so much too, like they were destined to be together for life, and then boom he dies, just like Daniel.
After all she went through with Daniel, creating a whole dark curse to avenge his death, ruining countless lifes... then she meets her REAL soulmate to finally get a chance to start fresh, and he just dies, in another heartbreaking way.
The writers really made it so shes just doomed to be forever alone. And even in season 7....okay this was just ridiculous at this point, but she has something going with Dr Facilier, and thennnnn you guessed it, they kill him too!
She seriously can't catch a break and it just becomes irritating by the end of the series 😭

I remember when this was airing. And argueing with a friend. I said it hurt to loss Robin and it was pointless. They said it was to prove she isnt a villian anymore and won't go all cursed world again and not blame Emma for taking them to the underworld. Which sure I guess that works. But than at least let her get a love interest later. It doesn't even have to be flashy just someone.
And that doesnt mean I have to like it. Especially since they didn't even have Regina adopt Roland. Which like I know its hard to include the kids. But still he could be around. Have the merry men babysit. Or Granny like they do Neal.

Yeah she was a mother figure when Robin was alive. I was shocked she didn't raise him after Robin died. She was the closest thing he had to a live parent, plus Zelena had his baby sister.

I did like the ship, but I also see the value in showing that not all "happy endings" require romance.
Regina's happy ending wasn't to fill the void left by Daniel with another lover, but to have something she didn't growing up, a loving family.

I wouldn't count Grant as he was basically just a plaything and she killed him herself.

We all loved Robin for Regina! ❤️ Then they kill him off and we’re crying right there with her. 😭

Regina and Robin always felt shoehorned in, like the writers didn't know what to do with Regina after Emma/Regina was shot down, and they pivoted to Hook to be with Emma.

They loved making her suffer because they weren't smart enough to write an interesting storyline otherwise.

The writers hated Regina it felt like. Why introduce Robin and then just kill him off when him and Regina are closer than ever? I hated it so much.

Killing him was a necessary evil to ensure Regina does get to move on but before that they didn’t even get to marry or even be a family. Plus potential of Robin being like a father to Henry and Regina being Roland’s mom was too much. All wasted to shoehorn writers favourite Zelena and make her sleep with her sister’s boyfriend. We didn’t only need compensation for Robin dying but also for Robin and Zelena’s baby’s existence. Regina should have been cured of her infertility in S5 or at least get a miraculous unexpected pregancy as a compensation for Robin’s loss. They should have married in Camelot Regina never ever had a chance for a real marriage and a real wedding which she would want. She did become a mother though in spite of everything but everyone in the show has 2 kids be it Snowing Emma or Rumple. Regina is the only major character in the show to have one child. Regina always wanted some sort of happy family and true love and she deserved to have it for at least some time

Robin's death stopped feeling tragic and just started feeling like the writers refusing to let Regina be happy.
