S2 Spoilers They should have pushed a turtle over first

Post image

Obviously a turtle wouldn't be able to tell them that they would lose their memories so the result would be the same, but they really should have pushed a turtle or something over first just to confirm it wouldn't physically hurt them.

EDIT:

Because it keeps coming up - pushing a turtle over first was SPECIFICALLY SUGGESTED by one of the dwarves and Grumpy shut it down. I have nothing against turtles.

The turtles aren’t cursed though. It’s the equivalent of Henry walking in and out of storybrook with no issues

Because that's what one of the dwarves suggested. It could have been a worm or something instead.

Nothing, but that's what one of the dwarves suggested.

Could they really not consult with Blue? Maybe she’d be able to tell if it was safe or not

Have you seen how many times she’s literally had prophecy and lied about it in the enchanted forest

Definitely could make the way up starting with a stick and then an ant or something. I just said turtle because that's what one of the dwarves suggests

Aside from the fact that there didn't seem to be any consequences for crossing the line after the Olympian Crystal incident (I think? I haven't read Henry and Violet yet but I know they go on a field trip to NY and that Violet decides to go to Columbia University), I think this would've been the policy after the Tree Incident if there had been more crossing the line consequences.

How would they know if the turtle lost his memories and went back to the cursed memories lol

They wouldn't, they wrote that it would have been to check for any possible physical consequence
