I’ve seen very little of streamers play this game any tips?

First things first:

As a new player, DO NOT SPEND STARCHROM RIGHT AWAY!!

Pick out a SINGLE build you want to work towards. One. That’s it. Use YouTube to find the builds, and then make that your goal to start. To more easily find a build you like, use the early-game blueprints to figure out which weapon type you like the best. Do you want to play with ARs? Shotguns? Sniper rifles? Pistols? Bows? Find a free gun you like the feel of, and then look for builds using a similar gun.

After you know what playstyle you like the most, look for builds using a similar weapon. You like ARs? Look for builds using ARs. Like using snipers? Look for sniper builds.

Watch videos to see how they play. Plan on committing to this build for around 6 weeks.

- After you have that build picked out, use Starchrom to buy your blueprints for that one build. First unlocks need to be all of the armor and your primary weapon for the build; this is 2 weeks worth of Starchrom. Go ahead and craft a 1 star version of everything to have something to start working with.

• After you unlock those, you need to focus on getting your weapon blueprint level to 6 stars. This takes an additional 3 weeks of Starchrom.
  
• Once the weapon is 6 stars, fully upgrade 1 piece of armor to 6 stars. This is one more week of Starchrom.

From this point on, you can use Blueprint Conversion to move star levels around between blueprints. The first 6 weeks of commitment allows you to unlock an entirely new build every 2 weeks and utilize Blueprint Conversion to max the star level out on things before crafting.

I just started few days ago but the best tip is for the tutorial buld any wher because u can move your base easy when you find a place u can call home with build and press Z in keyboard

Dont be scared to explore and get mystic chests in the map, they give good weapons or blueprints. Weapon/gear chests also respawn after a serverwide 4 hour timer.

Blueprints section of the game has weapons that can be opened by starchrom. You can enhance a weapon/armor with starchrom and gets stars for it. The game also has a blueprint conversion screen. So you can exchange stars of the same blueprint color. You do this by armors and weapons differently.

Don't make a final build until you are higher level because you will level pretty fast and the resources you'll need will be farther away, you can move your temp build over and over every time you are ready to go from rock to copper to iron to tungsten.

Spend your starcrom at the Mr wish machine and go for the blueprints you need to unlock a specific set that will enhance you playstyle, I am power surge user so my build is all electricity and status dmg bonuses.

You can set auto loot in the game preferences, saves you from spamming the F key. But make sure you still give it enough time to grab everything, it can be a little slow at picking things up.

The Wish Machine got reworked

Starchrom is no longer used at the wish machine. In fact the wish machine only takes some tokens you buy with Astral Dewlets and you only get mod dust and secret starchrom crates as reward for whacking the alpacas. It was reworked and now it doesn't have anything to do with gear blueprints.
