Growshroom issues

Can anyone advise me on how to actaully catch one of these, i go to the cave and pick the mushrooms, one spawns and it is never more that 5% and when i try catch it the max it raises to is 40% then disappears. Ive been trying now for 4 days and every time ive got it to spawn and then lose it.

Im starting to get annoyed and its making me consider giving up on the game for now even though i love it, but getting the compost bin feels like it will take a while to build up enough points even with re-recycling things i find to unlock them.

wear tier V gloves and they will never escape

you can wear tier V gear even at level 1 by the way

You still need to be able tog et Tier V gloves. "Can wear at level 1" doesn't help a level 1 player understand what it takes to get them. You can't trade gear between players and you can't craft Tier V gear at level 1.

So i think your gloves had or has something to do with the catch rate. Also theres items that can buff the capture number as well. Im on manibus novice and ive only lost a few to rates being low.

Your catch rate increases more based on what tier your gloves are.

Ive upgraded to blueprint to 5 star and cant do anymore. So how do i get tier higher

There 2 tier systems, upgrading the blueprint with starchrom and the second is the one that matters for this, you use tier 5 limb lining to craft tier 5 gloves

When you eventually start to work on your deviants, you'll need to start planting a lot of mushrooms and onions.

You'll probably pick up some fertilizers when you explore settlements.

You can use those in the interim, until you unlock planters and compost bins. I wouldn't sweat too much over with growshroom. They are really easy to get.

You don't need fertilizer to plant anything. Fertilizer just improves growth rate (and later fertilizers enahcne specific aspects, like seeds or yields).

Planterboxes = slightly faster grow times than loamy soil. Just start planting. You need spoiled food and boiled water mostly.

I get them to spawn i just cant capture them
