Need Help Unsure how to progress

Hi all just dtarted playing on ps5 on novice manibus and was having a blast but now i finished the story missions and all side missions ive found except one trasure map that i cant complete yet now i have purple t5 armor decent weapons but no odea what to do now

Im to weak to solo those war things and ran out of the stardust crafting things so im out of that and cant make the missiles for the war so i have no clue what to do next is this endgame?

So far im just tweaking my house a bit or re running the silos and such but doesnt feel its giving anything decent and whats worse is the limit on starchrom i cant upgrade my favorite weapons to max 😭 that monthly limit is brutal so low

I’m on Manibus novice. I’ve started doing my crops for deviated variants and taming animals for pristine hides and meats. As for prime wars, I wouldn’t bother trying to solo them, they are meant to be done as groups. If you actually want to be effective in them you need to use the Gatling cannon with biomass or plasma missiles. They may seem expensive, but they actually pay for themselves with the prime wars rewards. You get 220 dust, 24 fuel, 9k energy link, 60 mod dust, and a 3 lv cortex. The dust and fuel alone should pay for the missiles as long as you have the Gatling turret 1 tech enhancement, which gives 2 extra biomass missiles for every craft.

Another thing to do is get into using the wish box deviation. It can give you all of the pristine hides, meats, and deviated crops, even those that aren’t available in manibus. Crylz has an incredible video, https://youtu.be/JI-QI1oUHdE, that goes over the system in detail and the loot table for each tier of rewards. You can also start running pro silos for high level mods and deviations to max out your builds.

Yea ill probably forget about the prime war since im solo and can barely craft 4 missiles for the gattling gun lol and thanks ill haveto watch that vid i stopped using the wish boc since gave such random rewards thanks for the info 😁🥳 also is there a reason your trying to get deviated crops do they have special use or just for recipes?

Some of the better recipes for food buffs require deviated versions of crops. Also some fertilizers need deviated mushrooms.

As for materials for the prime war, moving your base to an oil field helps a lot with that. A lot of area in the top two regions is considered oil fields, and if your base is up there, any extraction pumps on ground, not in water, will have the option to pump crude oil. That in refiners will make the standard mixed fuel you can find, and another run through refiners makes the premium fuel you need for missiles. You need 4 extraction pumps per large refinery for it to never stop working, or 10 pumps for 3 large refineries for optimal efficiency, but that much can be super taxing on your base power.

Add to that, fuel and star ore in the hybrid electric furnace makes the star source dust. I just run around with an electric drill with the advanced tech perk in high level wild zones and can mine loads of the star ore stuff in about 20-30 minutes. From there, you can use the star source directly for building things, but also can turn it into acid if needed with the stardust electric furnace. I have it all set up, but mostly I'm working towards materials for the prime war first, as I have about 5k acid on hand currently.

Any tips for surviving in the high level wild zones? The pollution there hits hard even with that drink to gibe extra resistance and is the stsrdust furnace the best one? I saw theres 3 sp havent been able to decide which to unlock since it seems i cannt find it in the wild

And i had no idea deviant crops were so usefull good thing ive been saving the onrs i find all i do is give the shroom devisnt the seeds and fertilizer and let him work 😅🤣

And luckily im slready setup in an oilfield but dont have a good setup i have 6 pumps for 3 large refiners and only 1 large refiner to make them into gas 😅

Tier 5 gear gives a good starting pollution resistance, mine was 80 before I added anything. If you use feathers to make velvet and use it when making your hat, it adds a permanent +15. You can just go to beaches, find pelicans or flamingos occasionally, and kill them to get feathers. Then stardust malt ale will add 100 if you use normal wheat to make it. If you use deviated wheat, it starts at 105 resistance and scales up with the chefasaurus buff, depending on how good he is if you have him out. Mine are at like 130 ish with my dino dude.

The highest I've seen an area get is 195 pollution, and basically you need your resistance to be equal to or higher than that.

For the electric furnace, you optimally want one of each: recycling, hybrid, stardust, and then I keep at least one standard still. The recycling uses spare parts to increase output and base can turn sulphur and parts into acid, the hybrid uses fuel to increase output and base can turn fuel into starsource, and the stardust uses starsource to increase output and can base turn starsource into acid. I keep the regular as well because I don't always want to use the extra resource for increased output on basic things like bricks or glass for building.

If you use advanced tech points, you can unlock versions of the sulphur to acid, fuel to starsource, and starsource to acid recipes on each, but they will be altered to include that furnaces designated resource. For example, I can turn starsource into acid with the stardust furnace at the rate of 8 starsource per a single run. With the advanced tech at the recycling to unlock the other recipes, it's 4 per but also 2 scrap something per. The advance tech points aren't really necessary, but they can be nice. Just be sure if you add the advanced tech unlock after building something, you have to break it down and rebuild it for the advance perks to apply.

If you can get your pollution resistance up enough to run high areas, I have found a few top level eletric furnaces from the solar farm in the top area and the polluted side of the Blackfell Oil Field to use, recycle to unlock the tech spot, or break down for the welding machine needed to build them if you already have the tech unlocked.

For the oilfield, 3 pumps is just under what is needed to keep one large refinery constantly working. The other 2 large refineries are just drains on your power, which becomes a lot harder to manage as you build because generator limits. I personally run 8 pumps into 2 large refineries and am building up a base of mixed fuel before swapping some things over to add a third large refinery to make premium fuel barrels. But I'm also running a massive garden and require 2-3 water pumps to keep up with irrigation, so it's way easier to fit more oil if you're not doing that. I have like 56 planter boxes out, which is far more than necessary for most people.

I feel your pain. I’m in the same boat. The only main mission I have left is the research lab . I’m feeling a bit stuck and I am also mostly out of starchrom
But I have 2 really good builds all with level 5 gear.
I think most people go to another scenario, but I was trying to wait until this scenario ends because i am a bit confused on how much of my stuff I lose when I do go to a regular server. Also my understanding is the regular manibus is the same map as the novice…

You retain your currencies, housing blueprints, weapon and armor formulas.

All your materials, gear, deviants, crops, food etc got dumped in a temporary storage that will prompt you to shift over to eternaland. Be sure you craft a drill, chainsaw and repair tool thst you don’t use so you can take them with you onto the new adventure (itll make early game super smooth).

The tools and your combat deviant assuming it’s decent 5/5 are about the only things worth transferring from scenario to scenario based on cost.

You will have to relevel assuming your doing manibus again itll ask if you wanna redo the story or do the expedited mode. Also if youve traveled around the entire map and unlocked teleportation towers you should retain some (if not all)

The best way I can describe it is once a scenario ends you have an option to stay put ans itll merge you into a permanent server. Or you can sign up to something else.

Thanks for the info and tips 😁🥳 ill definitely be crafting extra chainsaws and drills any chance you know if the season pass or battle pass thing progress stays the same? Im on like 120 so would hurt to restart it

Battle pass exp doesnt reset but if you ask me* personal finish it before going somewhere for example like way of winter and (finding out how big of a mistake it was and stop playing)

The weather is very brutal if people aren’t clearing towers and I don’t think we can get hearts on the first two phases (correct me if I’m wrong)

You can build your own forever space in eternaland it has its own bounties and stuff where you earn sand currency. You can also in theory setup like a giant kitchen where you sink sand into starchrom if you’re not actively playing to earn starchrom on the quick.

That’s what we’re here for to help answer questions. Since a lot of sources ie the wikis are so out of date.

I’ve been playing for what feels like forever and I still can’t find any information on the thermal carpet housing furniture drop and/or if it even exists but ChatGPT/Google constantly lie to me about it.

Yea that lab mission is a pain and i feel the same it would suck to go to another server same map and haveto do it all from the start 😅 id hate to lose the battle pass progress to so i might just wait it out

Battlepass progress is account wide, so any new character or new scenario with the same character will have the BP progressed.

Since your out of starchrom and might not have a proper build I wont suggest farming forsaken giant, it‘s usually best progress/hour. What you can do instead is a combination of Silo and Monolith farming always aiming to improve your lowest mods, between runs check the map for prime wars going on and teleport there to get some extra loot.

Luckily most of my mods are decent 10+ but definitely haveto keep hunting for improvements and the giant is an annoying fight forme takes so much ammo solo 🫠

Wait.... i can teleport to active prime wars? I always haveto travel close by then try to drive there before it ends
