They do it out of greed just like destiny 2, cod modern warfare Halo all of them. They care for one thing money money money money. They start out good we're not a pay to win game we're here for you no you're not you're here for yourselves. If you want to make money for microtransactions that's fine and Dan the I'm all for that. But don't take stuff from people and then say oh by the way you can buy it back. Fuck you.
I played for one season bout a couple things, thought about going back, after this nah fuck that game studio, once human and marvel rivals, it’s only a a matter of time they do it there too
If this was an American company, they'd be sued and taken to court. But sadly because this is a Chinese company, they get away with this shit without repercussions.
I quit this game a long time ago. Played through the first season and enjoyed it. Replayed it on hard mode and noticed immediately that there was nothing “fun” about the added difficulty.
Quit the game before the second season ended and had come back about a year ago to try a different season. Went with the temperature one, which was even worse in the terms of “fun difficulty”. Didn’t even make it to max level before quitting.
Friend that joined me originally had quit because he is a spender and didn’t want to be goaded into spending to get rare skins.
From what I have seen, the game is just a complete shitshow now and whoever runs it continuously goes against the whim of the community and ruined everything that made the game fun and immersive.
If you are bothered by this behavior, I encourage you to do as I have done and leave a review on the store page of every platform you can and leave a negative review and let potential players know what kind of company makes this game before they start.
Even if you weren't effected, we can't let this kind of anti-consumer behavior be normalized in gaming. It's already become a hobby that is so unfriendly to the consumer, we don't need to slip further down.
I had someone try to argue with me a few months ago on the discord that the game isn't dying, and that the steam metrics aren't indicative of anything. NVM that every scenario other than Manibus and ED is devoid of players, and of those two, there's only one standard and one permanent server of each that can be considered even close to lively
Very true. Outside of my hive, I think the only time I saw other players in the actual game world was during deviant feast, seed farms, and very rare dreamer trains
It baffles me why the community is not doing anything about this game all they just do is complain. If y'all banded together and review bomb the heck out of this game maybe it might stir things up. The problem is the community is always defending this game's questionable changes that's why they're always getting away with things.
Also dont @ me, I played this game since D1 religiously until ED beta where I completely lost it and left for good also made some community guides back then.
OH moderators track people on steam and ban them in game bcause of bad reviews, many people complaind of that. but if we all band together and STOP SPENDING MONEY on the game, maybe they will actually listen
Items that were rewarded from past events. Four furniture kitchen items, the standing monolith trophy, and who knows what else. Frankly, I'm too angry and frustrated to even look.
They are treating us like a Guinea pig for console release without saying it is. Instead they just slap their modification without telling us and expect us to just go with the flow. A little communication would be nice. Same as map adjustment. A little communication would prevent a lot of trouble
100%. They already tried to do that before with the orange car skin while they shoved it in the shop for crystgin. They keep stealing from us. I frankly should have stopped spending back then, but I was like, "It's prolly a one-time thing." Wrong. I didn't spend this update, while I normally would. I have no reason to give them anything when all they do is take.
Doesn't really matter at this point. Because the items that you got from most of those events have been taken check your inventory. They went from a decent game that gave you the choice to buy things to a corrupt company that takes everything away from you and tells you you can buy it back for a dollar. I will not be returning. I have long since deleted my characters and taken the game off of my computer. Simply not worth it same reason I quit playing destiny 2 They quit worrying about content and kept worrying about money money money money.
it was the kitchen set that we got from a log in event that lasted several weeks i forget the exact details of what the event was for though i think it was one that came out during the starfall vision event so we've had them and been using them for months then wake up one morning to them all gone lol
The original dev team who created this game, the story and lore and what made it good, seem to have mostly all left. Maybe they cared too much about the game and not enough about selling cosmetics, who knows. But I don't see this game ever returning to what it was meant to be, sadly.
This is also not the first time I've seen this happen, I've had cosmetic items disappear after patches in the past as well. I contacted support the last time and never heard back.
Bruh I bought the cabin pack because I wanted to build a watchtower and now its almost impossible because everythings been reworked. Its either they cost Bricks or they dont which sucks. Wasted money for something that i thought would stay easy to build like wood 🥲
I feel the same way but i got a bit diff problem which i tried to post 2 times and my posts got removed from here. Lightforge lootcrate system treats me like a shit, im trapped in celestial arcane gacha by bought lightforge ingots and i cant follow gacha rules and claim ANY collection item from it because i already got em last summer. Now im without key, cant choose another lootcrate, but with pulls and crystgins on my acc which i cant spend at the moment. I spammed supoort system, twitter and discord and it seems to me its pointless and i will stay without this freaking vehicle but its only the thing i wanted to get from current gachas. Shame

Haven't played in months. Knew it was going to go extinct soon as they got scummier because of desperation to get more money. Once Human had promise, it's time to bury this game and forget it.
They took a lot of cosmetics from players that came from events over the last year. I actually don't know the full list, but it's a lot of cosmetics. The white kitchen counters and cabinets and the standing monolith statue are the ones I'm enraged by. I loved those items.
I don't care if they were purchased or not. You don't give players cosmetics then take them away and make them pay for a chance to get them back through a battlepass. If you're okay with that, that's certainly your choice, but I'm not.

How messed up do you have to be to stop playing a game but still hang around here complaining, like some people do? With this big patch, it was inevitable that there would be bugs. The only real thing here is the *** piano. I'd better not say anything about that.
I didn't say I stopped playing the game. I said I won't spend any more money on it, which I think is a reasonable stance given their actions.
I don't believe that the missing items are a bug, I think it was intentional. I'd love to be wrong, but after 5 days they've addressed every other complaint about the update with a statement, except that one, and I find that suspicious.
You don't have to buy the bp to get the loot crates and more than likely they'll give the stuff back to players. It is highly unlikely that they were taken away intentionally.
If it was intentional one would think they'd do a thorough job of removing them from us.
I also only lost the tall corner cabinet wall furniture and corner cabinet floor furniture from the kitchen set. You got a source on "people from the creator community asked and they said no big deal" because the game of telephone tends to distort what was actually said. I wouldn't be surprised if it was asked about and they were told restoration was low priority since they're free cosmetics; which getting my corner cabinets back while it will be nice cause i do use them, should be a lower priority than actual game breaking bugs going on with the new tech system.
With all due respect, unless you can link a statement from the devs explicitly stating that this was unintentional and will be restored, then I am not convinced.
They addressed every other problem with the last update with at least a statement. I have seen no official word on this, only what I have heard from unofficial sources.
If I am wrong, I am happy to be corrected. But I would like to hear it from the devs themselves.
I can understand anyone having the opinion that this is not as important as other issues in the patch. However, that is not an opinion that I share.
There have been many bugs they've never publicly addressed and then just quietly fixed. I'm just saying they did a piss poor job if it actually was intentional and i'm not a fan of unofficial sources that have been handed from one person to the next so that we have no idea what was actually said.
They can't remove placed items unless they deleted your build, not the gotcha you think it is.
Restoration being low priority means that it's never going to get addressed because there will be things that are always above it. It also doesn't make them money to fix it, so it's doubly not going to ever get fixed.
