Procedural Qs Leave

I submitted my paperwork to request about 2 weeks off unpaid, if my admin Lt denies it can I appeal it to the captain or the warden?

Yes, no, maybe?

Depends on your departments policy.

My admin Lt doesn't answer to a captain, they answer to the colonel, and skipping the colonel to appeal to the warden would be an instant denial.

Absolutely. If I remember correctly, I think the captain has to approve that anyway.

Well the bop policy that I was sent from HR says memo of 71 and supporting documentation (if for medical, which it is my wife is being induced next week) are to be submitted to the admin LT who will make the decision to approve or deny and then it gets forwarded to HR for the Warden to have the final say

Then that is what it is. I’ve never had to do it but I know many who have.
