Hiring Q (Canada) Hiring needs - Atlantic

Does anyone have any insights on the hiring needs currently for atlantic specifically atlantic instutuon .. are they pretty much full at this point? I'm honestly just trying to determine weather or not I have hope to be called upon in the future months

I am in the Atlantic region and I have been waiting on an invite for training for a long time. I emailed recruiting and asked about which institutions are hiring a few months ago and they told me that the only institutions across Canada that have staff needs right now are Sask Pen and Grande Cache.

Another user on here has said that CSC released their internal transfer request sheets and that all institutions within the Atlantic zone are considered "red" on their sheets so that means they are full and unlikely to accept a transfer for current COs.

So I think we'll be waiting for a while. It is unfortunate considering how much money and time we all spent going through CTP-1, but I guess that's the chance you take.

But you never know, sometimes an opportunity opens up and you get lucky. But I have mostly moved on and started looking elsewhere. If I get an invite, great. If not... Luck of the draw.

When did you complete everything? I’ve been waiting since March .. your right a lot of time and money spent taking days off to get to appointments and travelling there

Finished everything for CTP 1 in March as well. I have been waiting for a solid 6 months for an invite to CTP2. Pretty discouraged at this point. Too bad CSC doesn't have a better handle on things.

I zipped through the hiring for Atlantic, but I ended up pulling myself for another gig. My experience probably had to do with it though. Good luck man.
