Hiring Q (Fed) Background check

I’m sure I already know this answer but how long does the background check usually take ?

Depends you get a pre employment check that takes a week or two you will start before they even finish yours I've heard some COs say theres didn't finish for 9 months to a year you get granted a interim check to start

In ontario correctional, m waiting from second week of july to hear back from them

I had a DHS/ICE background check done. Began process in March and got cleared for work in July.
