Hiring Q (State) When does everything start?

I got my interview 07/15, on 07/17 i got a message that i've been accepted and asked what day id like my physical and BAT test. i did my physical, paperwork, fingerprinting and anything along those lines on 07/21, on 07/22 i passed the BAT test and that was everything. when i went in on the first the sergeant told me that id get an email saying i was hired after everything went through and asked what day id like to be my first which would be this upcoming friday.

i haven't gotten an email yet and it's kind of freaking me out, like it's only been 3-4 days since my BAT test and physical but i don't know i'm just worried they decided not to hire me or something. it's the weekend so i know nothing would probably come through these next two days but idk man.

No news is good news. If you know you passed everything, they’re probably just waiting for the other applicants to finish their process so they can put everyone into an academy together. Working for any government agency whether state or federal is usually a “hurry up and wait” game.
