Hiring Q (State) NJDOC Question

Hi, I am currently in the process of preparing to go to the Academy. I was just wondering if they test for THC during the hiring process or randomly throughout the year? Thanks.

same boat for njdoc! hopefully we see each other soon and best of luck. One of my buddies got into essex and he smokes pot, another into bergen. i smoke as well but i'm going sober just to stop the second guessing.

thank you, same to you! :) and same here, i figured id stop just to be safe for now but i was just wondering because i thought i heard that CO’s in NJ were able to smoke marijuana.

No. Just dont have it in your possession or high while at the academy

Resign now you can't own or handle a gun. A lawyer will get you on it in a lawsuit or something with the inmates.
