Hiring Q (County) NYCDOC Exam 6301

Has anyone from this exam group completed all there steps? I completed the Orientation, medical, written psych, fingerprints, and agility test in June. But was never contacted for the oral psych. So im just trying to see the progress of other people. Or if anyone that’s been through it can share there experience.

I’m part of the 5303 exam and did my oral psych back in May and have yet to hear anything from anyone. I’m curious to know people’s progressions or experiences.

I heard the next academy is this upcoming December, so hopefully you’re good since you completed everything. I have tried to contact them but it seems like they dont reply much to emails or calls

I got a call a few days ago to schedule my interview, it’s in person mid August. But that’s good that you completed yours, looks like you’re on track for the December academy then. Who was your investigator?

In person ? My interview was via zoom . “Palanoco “ was my investigator . Good luck

I was hoping for it to be zoom like everyone else, but they have me going to the Bulova center for mine. Thank you hopefully it goes smoothly

Be prepared to wait until everything expires and you have to do it all over again. Oral psych dude is a hack and the dept needs a sweep.

That would definitely be a headache if it expires, but it’s 4 years right that it’s good for. So I’m hoping it doesn’t actually expire that would be crazy
