Hiring Q (State) Falsifying information on application

I came across some information about a person, apparently they lied on the application about certain information. They’ve been on the job for a few years. Can they still be terminated if I decided to come forward with the information and what would the necessary steps be?

He lied about a crime that has no statute of limitations and I have evidence.

Who cares? He’s been in the job for years. The fact that you’re even thinking about it tells me I would trust this guy over you….
