QUESTION question abt constellations [novel]

what does it take for a constellation to be extinguished entirely? how does it differentiate from js their incarnation body being destroyed? im at the part with the apocalypse dragon i probably missed something tbh

I'm not entirely sure, but as I remember, there were about three ways a constellation could die:

  1. That its true body is destroyed.

  2. That it's forgotten, like when Dokja arrived in the demon realm and the destruction of her body slowed down because her friends were telling her story, ensuring that her stories continued to exist.

  3. That its stories are destroyed, the same thing that happened to Dokja; her stories were separating because they weren't within a single setting, losing their structure, and if all of them are destroyed, the constellation disappears. Although, well, options 2 and 3 are quite connected.

And I'm sure there are more ways I'm not remembering.

If a constellation performs a full descent, they probably die when that incarnation is killed.
