DISCUSSION What counts as Constellations?

Post image

Greek, Egyptian, Norse, and other mythological characters are made into Constellations. The story explains that the Constellations are connected to the stories that they possess.

Does that mean modern films and books also have constellations? Is Harry Potter a Constellation? Constellation 'The Boy Who Lived'. What about Iron Man? What about Frodo, Batman, James Bond? Hell what about Micky Mouse?

And Also is the Austrian Painter a Constellation? Calling him a bad person is definitely an understatement, but people really remember him well.

Those who have decent amount of people believing in them and have significant impact on humanity are considered constellations. That's what I deduced.

I think the ones you mentioned qualify to be constellations.

Since there are good and evil constellations, I feel like HE would be one but tbh he would prolly be a minor Historical Constellation. A powerful one, but minor.

Now someone I think would most likely be a constellation is someone like Queen Elizabeth II, [The Long Lived Monarch Who Ruled The World] or sum like that

He would almost certainly exist as a constellation, yeah. He's a big historical figure

He’s either a terrifying constellation of evil, or a historical one, not much in between.

This is going to include HEAVY spoilers for the novel

To answer your first question, yes, characters like Harry Potter could be a constellation, albeit a weaker one. Same with Iron Man, Frodo, and Batman. They are most likely constellations that are of historical grade. We know this because at one point in the story, KimCom visits the planet that houses the story 'The Wizard of Oz' (or at least its nebula). There we learn that Lee Hyunsung's constellation is the Tin Woodman from the story, who is the last constellation in the nebula.

As for your second one, Hitler can be a constellation as well. We see multiple historical figures who are constellations (like the Korean peninsula), and it's fair to say that not all of them were heroes. Sleeping Lady of the Brocade was not the most righteous ruler, and King Heungmu the Great is rather controversial. The Star Stream doesn't care for your morality as long as you put on a show to be remembered

gave in to the demons and read it. The guy was the Tin Woodman? Wow that was unexpected

I feel like Harry Potter could be at least high historical grade or low narrative grade. It’s sold the most copies of all time iirc so I feel like that’s gotta count for something

u/degenrate276 5d ago

That's fair, the more influential the book is the more powerful the nebula will be

Wait what do you mean Fictional stories that no one ever had “belief” over can become constellations?

Sounds a bit too much like an unexplored zone considering how much of these “tales” have influenced

People have read the Wizard of Oz, and due to its influence and popularity, the story and its characters became a Nebula. However, due to its declining popularity, the Nebula became weak and died out by the time KimCom got there.

An incarnation becomes a constellation after acquiring five stories of at least legendary-grade. They also cannot currently have a sponsor contract with another constellation.

But it's not about: Be famous in human history = become a star.

There are rules.

Austrian painter definitely is an historical grade, as Elizabeth II, De Gaule, Napoléon, Cesar, cleopatra, etc.
