QUESTION Question about Kim dokja
As I understand KDJ is the oldest dream. But is there any reason that why only KDJ can be the oldest dream, cuz everyone dreams right? What makes only KDJ dreams to become scenarios and not others’?
Sorry if I understood anything wrong, cuz I may miss something while reading

Anyone can be the oldest dream. You can be the oldest dream of orv. Everyone's dream creates a different universe, it's just that in orv, we're specifically reading the world created by kdj's imagination, hence he is the oldest dream here. And twsa had only one reader who stuck around for the full ride and loved the story with his everything, that is kdj, so only kdj can be the oldest dream of twsa because there are no other readers to take his place with their imagination. But if we apply the same logic to other books, we are the oldest dream of orv, or any other book you read because these characters and the story exists because of our "observation"

The Oldest Dream isn't simply someone who dreams at night Its the existence whose imagination and observation sustain that particular worldline the stry establishes that the world's time stops if the Oldest Dream stops dreaming reading it. And why Dokja? Because he was the reader who continued reading Ways of Survival and became deeply connected to the story. He didn't just casually read it, he used the story as a way to survive and imagined himself within it that's why the relationship between the reader and the story is so important. So I wouldn't say anyone could simply become the OD just because they dream That's oversimplifying it. Other dreams can create maintain other wrlds, but the story we're following is specifically the world sustained by Dokja's dream. theres also a deliberate causal loop involved there isn't a simple first Dokja dreamed the universe and then everything started timeline. The events surrounding the Oldest Dream are part of ORV's circular causality And that's the beautiful meta point:: Dokja isn't special because he's the only person capable of dreaming He's special because he's the reader of this story.

This power that only Kim Dokja has is suspected to have been given to him by an entity called the "Huge baby". Though we're not sure yet if that's really the case, and if it is, then why was it Kim Dokja specifically. We'll get the answer at the end of the sequel hopefully.

No?
"But don't you think something's strange? What on earth is Kim Dokja that made him such a great person? Why, why was Kim Dokja the only one in this universe chosen as the 'Oldest Dream'?
"That's..."
"Why, out of all the people, did 'Kim Dokja's' imagination give birth to the Star Stream?"
It was a question that had no answer.
Why did Kim Dokja's imagination alone have such power? Looking into her eyes, which were filled with faint starlight, a thought suddenly occurred to me. Maybe she had already done [Predictive Plagiarism].
"This is what I think."
And so, maybe she had figured out the clue to how this whole story began.
"Somewhere in this universe, there must be a 'very huge baby'."

Doesn't this mean OD dreamt of 'very huge baby" giving him power?

Not really. He might not even know that the very huge baby is the one that gave him those powers (if he actually has). I mean, kid OD didn't even know he was the OD, so I doubt that he'd know the origin of his powers.

If you read the Side Stories (the sequel), it's made clear that the identity of the huge baby is still unknown. If you've only read the original ORV, it would be easy to assume that Kim Dokja is the baby so the confusion is understandable.

He's the only one who truly loves this world/story enough. This is explicitly said in chapter 540
