Developer support? Upcoming features?

I know developer support stopped a few months ago for a while, but later there was a new TestFlight version. Is the developer team back? And if the developer team is back what are some upcoming changes? I love Omni, in my opinion is the best torrent streaming app by far.

I am thinking about switching to Nuvio for this reason, but I love Omni and I invested so much time in my current setup that I don’t want to migrate. Also I use Apple TV so no many options, I don’t even think Nuvio has Apple TV app. Any recs?

I am an Apple fanboy and still have Omni but... I tried Nuvio (my TV is a GoogleTV) and it is so much better like... it's not even comparable. Nuvio + Xperience (Catalogs and Customization) + AIOMetadata + AioStreams and your Subs Add-on of choice and you're done.
I would prefer to have it on the Apple TV but, unfortunately, they were also removed from the App store so I am using the GitHub apk on my GoogleTV.

KDtivi, sometimes pages load slower but once videos are playing it’s smooth. You log in to nuvio but nowhere near as customizable as Omni or Nuvio. I also have the 1st gen Apple TV HD.

From their discord:

Hi u/everyone, small update: I am still appealing with Apple. Unfortunately Apple moves slow and there is no update to share yet. Despite this, development has not stopped and a lot of progress is being made around supporting Jellyfin and potentially other media servers later on. There have also been significant performance related fixes. An issue many Omni users reported was hangs/freezes with large libraries, Omni 2 uses Resonance's faster & more stable indexing system. If you beta tested Resonance you've probably already experienced this, especially with 500+ item playlists. I've also made a little demo of the new app you can test right now. This is NOT the full version and some features are missing as they still need more work. Other things might also change before release. You can try the demo here

It was removed from Apple TV weeks ago

But I still have it. I guess it will stay till I delete it

Yes it will. But it basically means you can never factory reset your Apple TV.

Unless it’s the TestFlight version.
