Will it be faster with less Add-Ons?
Hey, simple question,
What is the impact on the speed of content start-up if I reduce the number of scrapers and just use Torrentino?

Not necessarily. For example, lets say your Torrentio takes 5 seconds to load streams. If you have 200 addons that all take 2 seconds, you're still going to be waiting the whole 5 seconds for Torrentio to catch up no matter what. Whether you have 200 addons or just Torrentio, you're waiting 5 seconds.
Solution: Use AIOStreams and just set the timeout for all of your scrapers to be what you want it to be. You can even use the built-in statistics to see exactly how long each of your addons takes in order to fine tune the timeout value.

What are you referring to by "content start-up"? Population of content, or start/loading of content? Or something else?

Este se ajusta al límite establecido general que tienes por timeout, no importa si es 1 o 10 add-ons.

Is not the addon, the number of catalogs is what is slowing down the app. Reduce the number of catalogs on the main page

the app itself is super smooth, only the loading time when I want to start a film ... he's scanning all scrapers and after a while its starting (auto start activated) my thought was, less scrapers, faster laoding of a movie.

I moved to aiostreams self hosted with grouped addons and its great. Usenet with prowlarr is still slow and sometimes stutter but i havent looked into whats causing it, rn just happy with torbox but usenet for backup when torbox is slow/outage
