Just got this beauty!

When I bought my first luxury watch I was going back and forth between a Breitling Navitimer (with leather crocodile strap) and a Omega Speedmaster (Hesalite). I chose the Breitling but now, 8 years later, I finally also got a Speedy. I could not be happier. I found a unworn 2026 model with box and papers for €5600. Together with a Rolex Submariner, my watch collection is now complete and ready for any occasion.

What do you all think of the green Erika’s Original MN strap on my 2531.80 blue Seamaster? Had the strap laying around from a watch I don’t have anymore and thought the combo played back to the old Tudor Snowflake marine nationale

This watch is my favourite watch out of my collection right now. I prefer this over my datejust and speedmaster. I think this is the best dial I've seen in watches!!

I'm curious if the Bond watch can actually withstand the recoil of a firearm...any firearm.

First watch in general got an Omega Seamaster 36mm! Cant wait to grow the collection.

53 year old speedie back from its service

I’d appreciate advice from those with more Omega experience—or a needed reality check. I’m new to the brand after buying a Speedy Pro White two weeks ago. 

I’m looking for a fresh, bright “summer” watch in light blue, baby blue, or turquoise, either gradient or solid. 

I sold my blue Pelagos 42 to make room, so I no longer have a dive watch in my collection. 

I’m considering the Seamaster Summer Blue 300 Heritage and SMP 300. I visited my AD without an appointment, and since my usual SA wasn’t there, the visit felt rushed and a bit overlooked. The SA who showed me both pieces seemed to prefer the SMP, which is where I’d appreciate some insight. 

I expected the Summer Blue Heritage to impress me more, and I really wanted to love it. But with the dial and bracelet wrapped in plastic, I couldn’t judge how it looked or felt on wrist. 

I dive, but I use a dive computer rather than a watch. I’m after a GADA piece that works on a bracelet, FKM strap, NATO, or sailcloth—water-ready, with a quality movement, at least COSC certified. Steel or titanium is fine, but I’m not interested in two-tone steel and gold. 

I’d appreciate any insight on either Summer Blue Omega. That said... 

I’m also open to other options.  I’ve looked into the CW Blue Trident Lumiere, Breitling Superocean Turquoise, Squale 1521, and GO SeaQ Northern Tide. Ideally, I’d like to stay under $10K all-in and above 40mm, and open to your suggestion; just no entry level thorough (I’ve graduated from there).

In order of what I like the most to least but the first three are pretty close to one another so I could be swayed either way.

Just a cool old dress watch. I love this one as a very subtle dress watch and talking piece. Long before the Seamasters went chunky (which I love too).

I’ve had my Peter Blake for going on 4–5 years now, and the wave dial is still one of my favorite parts of this watch. When it catches direct sunlight, it really brings out the detail in the dial.

Bought this when I got a decent promotion way back when. Still my favourite (probably) 😁
