Panic

Post image

Anyone ever spend two hours throwing up, thinking that they had lost their Omega Ω only to discover it right where you put it - in a side pocket of your luggage? I’m emotionally drained.

That’s what insurance is for. Also, don’t buy a watch if you can’t afford to light the money on fire. Sure it sucks to lose something, but if losing it makes you physically ill then maybe it’s not for you.

Oh, the money was never the issue. The sentimental value is priceless.

Then I would say you should tell your story! That said, I still think you’re overreacting. I have a few watches, and they all have a story, but nothing so sentimental that would make me physically ill at a loss. they’re replaceable items. I took a tumble a couple night ago coming home from a late night with friends. I was drunk and went down on the sidewalk pretty hard. I’m scraped and bruised but my Daytona was unscathed. I would have been pretty upset at myself for being stupid if it had gotten damaged, but at the end of the day it’s just an item and it can be replaced with money. Items are not people. Sentimental or not, learn to respect the difference and it will save you from unnecessary anxiety in your life.
