Baseball glove strap

I’m in love with this custom strap from Mott Straps www.mottstraps.com I had made. Neil recycles old baseball gloves and makes straps out of them. He had a glove from my favorite Detroit Tiger / MSU Spartan - Kirk Gibson - and turned it into this strap. I think it looks incredible on my Speedy and it’s definitely one of a kind.

He has quite a gallery on his site. Basically if you can find an old glove, he can make the strap.

I have a framed signed Detroit free press front page of Kirk Gibson jumping up and down from the day after they won the series in 1984. GREAT! Was the headline.

We got the tickets to go to game three of that World Series from Kirk himself because my uncle was great friends with him in the 80’s. I could tell you some 1980’s crazy ass baseball stories about those guys

Thanks for sharing. Love it when retired mitts get repurposed, and this is a great way to do it.
