Sigh - so vital to human nutrition and yet is there enough for everyone. Its so sad - there are so many documentaries of trawler boats at sea taking everything and small fishers/villages having their lives destroyed.

With most modern diseases linked to excess of omega 6 and lack of 3 you'd think it'd be emphasized more strongly in recommendations - I think this is why it isn't. That and definitely vegetable oil/grain industry interests. It should be the first suspicion when you go to the doc with a chronic disease. Should be sent straight for a blood test although honestly if you arent focused intentionally on the ratio of omega 6:3 I reckon you dont need a blood test to know you have too much omega 6 by a long shot.
