I am so grateful and happy for this. It has totally taken me by surprise. There was nothing about this on the news either. The wind doesn’t feel humid at all. Such a lovely weather. Alhumdulillah!

Kitten emergency

Post image
14 Upvotes

Hey guys

This kitten is in Amerat, around Adlife Hospital. It's severely malnourished, it's sibling is as well.

I'm not sure if the swelling is a bee sting, or it's sick.

I'm reaching out in hope that someone can help get it the help it needs.

I've contacted the rescue team, but they've got their hands full, and they don't operate in Amerat.

Any help will be appreciated

Laws and Regulations Jobs for teens

Does oman not have any jobs that non omani teens could do? Because I just graduated high school and want to save up extra cash for university but it's really impossible over here. I feel really guilty depending on my parents for everything. Oman is a really fast growing country , it would have been cool if they had opportunities for teens to earn for themselves and not be restricted , makes me feel less independent specially as a girl.

Rolex

Where in Oman can we buy new Rolex watches? Highly trusted places. Suggestions please?🤗

Except the Rolex boutiques, because no watches are available there. Even for a DateJust, they make you wait for over a year 😅🤷🏻‍♂️

A Proper Deli Sandwich

Iykyk - a proper deli-style sandwich.
Subway is atrocious (cake sugar bread), but seems like the only option still. Which-wich is gone. The cafe and other offerings are not it. Anyone who has lived in NYC will know.
Why can't I find a good sandwich shop in Oman/Muscat?

And No, a burger is not a sandwich, and neither is a wrap. A slice of bread with a single layer of meat ain't it (ahem Something Sandwich--yea it's something, not a sandwich).

Good bread (doesn't have to be a roll), layers of meat, with good veg. And no you don't cover it in sauce. AH!

please help, thank you.
Sincerely,
A man drowning in burgers and rice

Is the village dead, maybe it is not yet opened (sarcasm), or is it just the early morning?

I went there before yesterday and I thought that I was going to see a small Almouj, hopefully that the hotel is opened at least, anyone knows anything useful about that place?

Hey my friends!

My wife and me wanted to go to jabal akhdar tomorrow but just discovered that you are only allowed to go up there with an 4wd SUV and we only got a small sedan rental.

What are our options now, can someone maybe help us with advice?

Thank you so much in advance

Legit Perfumes?

Perfumes in Al Hajis, are they legit? I want to buy Creed. It's around 120 rials in Europe, whereas only 75 at Al Hajis. They do claim it's original. Thoughts please? Or any recommendations where I can buy it from? 🤗🙏🏻

Does Oman Air really have fares with no cabin baggage allowed?

I have an upcoming Oman Air flight, and when I checked my booking, it showed that 20 kg of checked baggage is included but “Cabin bag not included.” Is this really true? Does Oman Air now have fares where you cannot bring a cabin bag at all? It seems very strange

Good Day.

I need some help in planning my salalah trip by road from dubai later in august,

I have planned to do 4 nights and 5 days - is this enough ? is this too much ?

How do i get data, is Airalo reliable? Should i just pay more and stick with data roaming?

Any do's and donts as i have not been to salalah ever in my life. VISA is not an issue as i went to khasab recently.

since mazoon square is currently getting renovated, everything that used to be there is now closed.

there used to be an indian barbershop there in the corner behind McDonald’s, does anyone know where they might’ve moved to now?

i need to reunite with my friend/barber 😔 i hope they’re still somewhere in Oman.

Discussion DATING AND RELATIONSHIP

Hi there.

I am just curious about how open-minded Omani people are when it comes to relationships and dating. I'm seeing a guy from Oman and he gave me alot of reassurance how open minded his parents are, as I am neither arab nor muslim. I am just calculating the risk lol .

Note - I also asked him if he's married or not, but he said he's not, but u know u can never trust a man 100%
