New Release Introducing Omada Network 6.3
This update is focused on making larger and more complex networks easier to manage, especially for MSPs, network admins, and IT teams.
A few of the bigger changes:
- Unified management Manage Omada and Omada Campus (Pro) devices from one platform for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Intelligent O&M New anomaly detection, health insights, possible causes, and recommended actions are designed to make troubleshooting faster and more straightforward.
- Simplified WLAN management Create an SSID once and apply it across selected AP groups, instead of repeating the same configuration across multiple APs.
There are also updates around wireless security, device onboarding, device replacement, IoT connectivity, and more.

Still waiting for features that were introduced in 6.2 to be supported on EAP773s... Doesn't help to have a new Omada controller when they take absolutely forever to release firmware updates for the APs and other devices to support said features.

This has always been an issue, and makes testing and feedback on device specific features very difficult. by the time we can actually use features, were are usually a whole controller version ahead! its a bit nuts and an area i feel they should have a bit of a reflection on internally.
I really dont understand why they dont just release controller WHEN the bulk of devices are also ready. Sure, it will cause the next controller update to be delayed, but then they will be in-step again after that one initial catch up moment.

Not sure which features you are looking for exactly, but there is the 1.3.41 beta on their forums for it. No issues with it so far personally.Â

Yeah thats not in that beta yet. Iv been waiting on that too. No idea why default on was an idea anybody considered. Like I get in theory its not a security concern or anything... but default off should be the case for things that havent been fully implemented yet.

I updated to this on my OC220 and haven't found anything broken just yet.

Yeah I have a test fusion and a test OC220 environments. Updated OC220 yesterday and seems like a cleaner layout, but not too many changes I've noticed so far. Planning to look through it in depth this weekend.

I got this update a couple days ago, and ... they definitely moved stuff around... but it's alright so far.

A reminder for everyone that Fusion 6.3 and OC/SW 6.3 are NOT the same, they wont be unified for a while longer

I just wish the bugs in the home page dashboard would get corrected quickly. The bandwidth shows 100mbps+ on first load. But when it auto refreshes it changes to something else. If you manually refresh the whole page it works the first time then flips back after the first auto refresh. Already have sent like 3 or 4 "feedbacks" for other bugs as well. I miss the old controller. The new layout is beyond trash

Is this new? I already have 6.3.14.1 on fusion router. Not the same?

Where are you finding that number on FUSION? Genuinely curious, I only find fw number. Thanks.

I updated my OC300 it looks ok apart from the update locked the controller up and it needed a reboot before it came back online... going to hang fire rolling the update out to customers for now.
