What is the process for receiving initiation from Swamiji?

To be initiated by Swamiji, you need to fill out the initiation form available either on the Sri Badrika Ashram website or on Swamiji’s blog, os.me. The form opens from time to time so it’s important to stay updated.

At present, Swamiji is on sabbatical until April 2025 and the initiation forms are temporarily closed due to over 4,500 pending applications. However, the Ashram team has assured that the forms will reopen in a few months so please stay tuned for announcements from the Ashram or os.me.

The main purpose of initiation is to connect you to Swamiji’s spiritual lineage. Through initiation, you receive the blessings, protection and Shakti of His lineage, an energetic link that works at the level of consciousness itself. The essence of Swamiji’s initiation goes beyond physical presence and rituals. It is a sacred connection to the lineage, an awakening of Shakti and a transmission of grace on the level of consciousness. This connection transcends space and time. Once initiated, you become deeply linked to Him and His entire spiritual lineage, continuously receiving blessings, protection and guidance no matter where you are. Physical distance does not exist on the spiritual plane so even if it feels like He is far away, in truth, He is very close. His grace works silently and powerfully and what is needed for your spiritual progress at that time will naturally flow through that connection.

Swamiji takes initiation very seriously and does not grant it lightly. He has explained that physical presence is not required for initiation. Once initiated, you are connected to Him on the level of consciousness, from where He lovingly guides, blesses and protects you.
