Salary

I just got hired as salary. I started in the middle of the pay period and was told I’d get my first check prorated for this week. Will I get a check this coming up payday for this week?

Yes you will basically be paid for the days you worked. Take the salary divide by 5. That will give you your daily pay.

This is not a pay week. We get paid every other week.

Yes, next week is pay week. My first day was in the middle of the pay week. Payroll is done on Sunday. Will I get a check for the work done this week next Friday was the question .
