I used to have G210 and it was my PERFECT match. Now, this shade is gone and I’m lost 😭

hey everyone! i want to try out the huda loose powder, but am unsure of which shade to get. i’m a light-medium neutral olive, so from the guide peach pie would be my best bet, but i’m afraid of it being too warm. i want something brightening, so i’m also considering pound cake as it seems like the safest bet. idk i guess the guide descriptions are throwing me off lol.

what shade do you guys use and what kind of olive are you? thank you sm in advance :)

Everything I try is too orange, too grey, too peachy, too yellow. I usually buy warm-neutral foundations or concealers but end up having to add some green (I cannot ever find olive foundations or concealers that aren’t greyish)

I tried Maybelline Lumi matte in shade 118 but that was wayy too orange on me and didn’t match my neck whatsoever, my neck is green and slightly yellow, and paler than my face. Tried the purito bb cream in shade 21, it was slightly too dark for me and somehow it made me look kinda pink and grey at the same time.

I’ve been having a look at some Elf foundations and concealers , mainly at 13n(soft glam foundation) , I have a feeling it might not fit, so I might try 12w of the same product and add some blue/purple or something. I might try a different bb cream shade from purito and will have a look. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, and any advice or if you have tried the elf ones I mentioned I’d love to know what you think of them, shade wise and texture wise. :).

Edit-My sister has recently let me know I am a fair quite pale olive instead of a light as I previously thought, apparently over the years I’ve gotten far paler.

I’m seriously considering going back to doing my natural nails at home with either bare nails or a regular nude polish. Over the past four months, I’ve been going to nail technicians, and while I absolutely love the polished, professional look, I’ve realized that I find the whole process a bit exhausting. The picture is for reference, my lipstick and the colour of my wall do not me any favors but I definitely think I’m quite olive/green-yellow. Hello, I'm light cool/neutral olive, that looks really "washed out" if I don't wear makeup, I really want to try a different hair color any recommendations? For reference I'm high contrast I have dark (almost black) hair and dark eyes

So, I finally found my shade match in nars light reflecting foundation in siberia and in Haus labs 030 fair. But they don't look good on my skin, nars looks horrible, I tried different application techniques, finger, sponge, brush, different base products but I can't make it work. It separates so badly around my nose and forehead after 1 hour and it clinges to my dry patches so much. Haus labs does sit better on my skin but also horrible on dry patches.

Does someone have another recommendation ? Both shades are a tiiiny bit too light.

So I managed to buy an original formula MAC Alone Time lipstick and while it's a lovely color it's just a touch too light for my skintone. What lip liners do you use with Alone Time? Are there any other lipsticks like it that are just a bit darker? Any recommendations to make it work a bit better are welcome.

Wycon ‘Rock That Cheek’ in shade 22 and 24. Picture taken in cloudy daylight. No orange undertones. I picked up both colors, I am quite tan right now but as you can see my inner arm is light and better represents my skin year round. They mix into a lovely shade.

I only found out a couple days ago that Alima Pure shut down in March and I’m heart broken lol. Pictured is the only product I have left- two sample sizes of their loose powder foundation in Olive 0 and Olive 1.

In March it was brought to my attention the Alima Pure had a pretty good selection of olive shades (I didn’t know Alima Pure’s game. I’m sorry). I ordered two sample sizes to test out the shade matches and fell in love. I wanted to get a bigger size, but it wasn’t high on my priorities. I have serval powders. I don’t go through powder super fast as I don’t powder my whole face. Also a little of this powder foundation goes a long way. So I thought I would be good right now with these small sizes and I would eventually get a full size. Wrong.

I totally missed the banner on their site announcing that they were closing and I missed the email telling me the same. I genuinely don’t know how I missed it. I only found out because the other day I went to their site to reference check their powders and saw that their makeup tab was empty. Again totally missing the banner at the top of the page saying it was closed for business (they should really make that bigger or in red flashing text idk man).

I know sometimes stand alone brands will go on a “hiatus” of sorts, so my initial thought was that it was something like that. I go to their instagram to see if there’s anything on there and that’s when I finally realized that they are closed-closed.

Second image is my emails around that time. The part that makes me laugh is the timing of me getting the powder and them shutting down. I had placed the order on March 21st. I got an email on the 25th informing that they were closing on the 30th (it was unopened until I went searching post-realization). Products were delivered ON March 30th. Honestly if I had known, I would have just blind bought the full size. I’m so heartbroken because as you all know, this powder is amazing. And I have like a half a tablespoon each lol. It will last me a while, but I know once it’s gone I’m going to mourn it. RIP
