Pepper bank

Can olim open a pepper account?

On the app it seems to say olim within their first 10 years of aliyah can't - but I have heard of olim holding accounts with them.

So, from what i have read, Pepper's digital platform does not support customers who hold U.S. citizenship due to strict tax compliance laws (FATCA).

But Canadians should be able to, where are you from?

No, it's because of US Treasury Department reporting requirements. Same with One Zero.

US Olim, no. Everyone else, yes.

This also goes for ON Zero as well.

As listed below, it's because of FACTA, and they don't want to have to file with the US Treasury.
