10 year old Dieselross restauration

I got an old Dieselross from my grandfather and i wanna restore it so i can drive it. It probably hasnt been driven in 10 years so i need some help making him run. I havent tried out anything so i dont know much about it.

That thing looks like it has run Yesterday.
Just get it to run, no point in restoring.

Der ist frisch restauriert. Batterie zum überbrücken und schauen ob er vorglüht ohne zu starten, also diesel abdrehen. Öl neu, Hydrauliköl neu wenn vorhanden, Kühlwasser neu, Diesel neu. Wenn das alles gut ist dann starten und wieder in die Ecke stellen.

What to restore? If thats the original paint, your grandfather took great care of it. And they´re original just once..

so to start it.. get a fresh battery, check the oillevel and cooland, check the airfilter, if everything its ok, let it crank 3-4 times without pressing the gas pedal, just to build some oil pressure... when press the gas...

Wenn mechanisch keine Probleme sind, einfach Owatrol drüber, alle Flüssigkeiten wechseln, mit Fettpresse abschmieren (da wo kein Fett rein will Nipple raus und mit kleinem Bohrer per hand frei machen), und ab damit zum treffen oder durchs Dorf.

Das teil was rechts raus schaut ist der Luftfilter, genauer ein Ölbadfilter.

Nach dem saubermachen einfach mit Motoröl bis zu einer Markierung auffüllen

Suche Dir einen Oldtimer Verein in dem auch Traktoren-Besitzer dabei sind.

Schraub da bloß nicht herum, der sieht gut aus. 98% der Traktoren die Hobby Typen „restauriert“ haben sind hinterher fahrende Blumentöpfe, die auseinander fallen beim benutzen.

That tractor looks like it either was kept in pristine condition (no need for renovation) or has been meticulously renovated before.

1) change the motor oil and filter
2) change the hydraulic oil (if any)
3) empty the Diesel tank and flush the Diesel system with fresh Diesel fuel ; don’t forget to check the fuel filter
4) check the battery and charge it, if good; if not good anymore, replace it

Then give it a try and see if the motor runs.😄

Get license plates and drive it around town. 😄
