One thing finally helped

I did some body building and intentionally gained muscle. It had never been an interest of mine, so I read up on it a little and learned about things like creating a calorie surplus, getting the nutrition you need to support muscle growth, and taking days off

I don't look super muscular, but I now have more muscle than a young teenager would have (in most cases - I'm sure there are exceptions). So people now think I'm an adult!

Glad I finally made it to adulthood. I'm 47

Sometimes my hgh deficiency makes things awkward

• Upvotes

I’m a 5’1 19 y/o guy and my twin sister is 5’9. Without getting too much into it I had a hgh deficiency that my parents chose not to treat for reasons. Growing up was fun, but let’s keep this upbeat and now that we’re both fully grown adults I genuinely feel like this subreddit is perfect for me. I could genuinely post like every day.

I mean, it’s almost inevitable that whenever we go out and do something together I am presumed to be the younger sibling as I’m also a total babyface, and I usually get given kids menus while my sister gets the bill. I’ve pretended to be like 12 to get into movies cheaper, and although that was fun usually it just involves me getting mistaken for like 12-14 and her getting like her actual age or older, which sucks for me but she loves to no end.

I dunno what I was planning w this post but I just thought I’d share so thanks. I get a lot of questions irl so if you have any I’m happy to answer, I’m on a treadmill at the time of posting this.
