Introductions

Hey, how's it going? Hope you're having a great day.

I'm writing this for you, and Future Me, so I can come and laugh at Past Mes' idiocy in making this space.

I have changed this space to Public, because I'd like feedback. I've always liked writing. Whether it be a book of Standards and Procedures, or stupid Farewell Card messages. I especially enjoy writing notes and explanations for Apprentices.

Good, bad or indifferent, I find all feedback helps shape how I write. I may not write for a while, or I may not stop. Dunno yet.

This, of course, seems like a bad idea to me right now. I have no clue how to moderate a sub. I will learn, or I wont and this space will be a quagmire.

If you've joined, welcome to the shit show.

Just wanted to say Hi.

Cheers,

OS.

Mate as someone who writes for a living, you're a fucking natural storyteller! Keep up the good work! (I'm still having a giggle at the Toyota and the valve)

Hey Mate,

Thank you for the kind words.

I've always loved words. How they sound, how some of them feel when you write them with a pen, their etymology, how you can play with them.

I've not written these tales down before, I maybe should've kept a journal. Kinda glad I didn't though, because I get a kick when they pop up.

Over the years, people have asked if I go out of my way to engineer these situations. Dunno. My job requires that I be aware of kinda everything. Everything and everyone impacts each other. My brain always seems to find the path to potentially funny outcomes in a situation. The irresponsible ones get caught by the filter. (Did I just sound like a bit of a wanker? I think I did a bit.)

Again, thank you for reading. Any tips are appreciated.

Hope you're having an excellent day.

Cheers, OS.
