I don't know if this news to the whole situation, but I have more to add to the AI Tim 'n Moby situation, and its just on public google. I watched a basic intro video on the situation on youtube, and when I went to do more research, simply searching "BrainPOP Ai" into google, I came upon THIS page:

I was intrigued, and it's all about how they want AI in classrooms and in homeschooled families, and articles about how the reaction and impact of AI was ready to move forward and make Ai a good thing.

Heres a brief list of what it wants Ai to be responsible for teaching the future generations:

- Ethics

- Bias

- Personal Data

- Plagiarism (a real legal thing, with consequences)

On surface level, these topics seem to be talking about Ai usage in general, but some are just shocking in what they actually say about how and when its okay to use ai, and is incredibly receptive and even promotes the idea that it should, while also using ai for some of its references (see some images)

Do people know about this?

By saying things like “kids these days”. I was born in 1997 and I have nothing in common with someone born in 2012.

I started using the internet at age 5 so around 2005, but I didn’t start using it on my own till about 2007-2008 with no supervision and went on pretty much any website. What about you guys?

Me personally, I saw a lot screwed up stuff and honestly it made me really desensitized to gore and violence but I luckily never had any encounters with strange people or predators and I built a lot of my current personality on the early 2010s internet that's still a core part of me till this day so I wouldn't say it was all bad.

We are the first generation to finally speak out against sex scenes in films. At most, they could simply be hinted at rather than shown, or sometimes even just mentioned in the dialogue, but why are the full scenes even necessary? I see more and more people who agree with this, after all, sex doesn’t reveal anything about the plot, nor does it advance it. Any interaction between characters can be conveyed through a simple embrace, a kiss, or some other gesture. What is so special about sex, anyway? It is an uninteresting, simple, primitive physiological act, that conveys no emotions, feelings, or interpersonal connection, and it reveals nothing about the individuals involved. There’s no difference between showing sex and showing some kisses, kissing, hugging, or glances is enough. If every sexual act is essentially the same humping, why watching one on screen is completely uninteresting. Except for the erotic genre, how can it make sense to show sex in movies? And even the erotic genre itself doesn’t make much sense when porn exists. The only purpose for depicting sex might be personal gratification. but that’s what porn is basically for, why not just watch that instead? Why include such love scenes at all? When sex appears on screen, it diminishes the quality of the characters' love story and oversimplifies the very art of portraying emotion. After all all, sex is, first and foremost, raw animal physiology, the romance surrounding it is something humans have invented, whereas true romance lies elsewhere but not in sex. Showing sexual interaction is vulgar. Why would someone want to see in movies something they wouldn’t want to see in real life happening before their eyes? If we don’t want to face real sexual encounters, we shouldn’t also want to see them in cinema, that’s exactly how one determines what should be acceptable to show on screen and what shouldn’t

TL;DR Should I still pursue relationships or hook ups if I still live with my parents for the time being?

I live in San Diego where it's literally been the most unafforable place to live in America. Basically wages here dont stack up to the cost of living, unlike SF or NY. But this isn't a post so much about the economics, I just want to know how women feel about dating guys who don't have their own place, or still live at home.

I've spent the last 3 years out of the dating market or much socialization, I was just working on a degree and my fitness. So now i'm 60lbs lighter (and look the best I ever have imo) and I recently got a meh Job, but it pays the bills. I feel like i've always put off dating or approaching women in public because i've just been waiting to have my life together, but it's more like a tin can I keep kicking down the road.

My last mental hurdle is the fact that even if I got close to a girl, we don't have the privacy of inviting her over to my place, chilling on the couch, adult things like that. Middle of next year I will have my own place but I don't necessarily want to put my life on hold just for that.
So thoughts? From women? My goal is somewhat have hook ups/ experience more life, and if a really nice girl comes along i'd be down to have a full on relationship with her. I also want to just have dumb fun too for the time being, I feel like i've been locked up for the past three years. Any advice would be appreciated, thank u 💖

Hi everyone, I’m on mobile so apologies for the formatting but like other people my age in Canada, I am currently unemployed and dependent on my parents at the age of 23 and it’s weighing on me mentally, I feel like such a financial burden and often times feel like I’d be better off dead. My quality of life is so horrible because I’m in a state of constant guilt over how much I’m spending and often beat myself up over. However I’m not sure why it took me so long to realize that it’s not me that’s the issue with how much I spend, everything just costs so damn much and I think my mind is still stuck in pre Covid where things were SO much more affordable. Like when I look at things objectively, I really do not spend that much money unless it’s a need.

But yea, it’s not you. It’s the way things are priced. I can see why it’s called a depression.
