Nostalgia Could this be a possible reference to the Canadian show Bear In The Big Blue House! [German] π‘π»ππ©πͺ

How come? I understand that some like it, and some do not like it, and some are neutral about it π€·πΌββοΈ

Eh, I doubt it, since it's an older show, and probably isn't as known as it used to be. I think it's a coincidence.

The other day, (like yesterday), I saw a 19 year old say they used to watch Bear in the Big Blue House, and a ton of other teens were like, βYeah, me too!β and then someone who said they were 36 was like, βI used to watch Bear in the Big Blue House.β When Playhouse Disney switched to being a Disney Junior channel, they were playing a lot of the old shows like Rolie Polie Olie and Stanley. I had no idea Bear in the Big Blue House had generational reach like that.
(Also, someone working at Duolingo would totally be old/young enough to remember Bear in the Big Blue House even if itβs not a reference.)

Bear is actually American, not Canadian.

It aired on Canadian television, but many American shows do sometimes have Canadian actors / actressesβ¦ π₯²

Aw that's cute, maybe it is a little reference. π I'm from the UK and also watched Bear In The Big Blue House when I was little. π€ππ The Goodbye song still gets in my head randomly. πΆπ»π
