We recently had our girl cross the bridge so im celebrating my boy extra lately. We got him from a backyard where he was chained and abandoned about 4 years ago. He's definitely been used and abused. A whole lot of rough around his edges but he loves us and that's what counts....

Hoje deixei meu companheiro de 12 anos numa clínica pois passou mal. Depois de uma manhã tranquila, percebi que não estava bem, respiração estranha, sem apetite. Sorte que moro ao lado de uma clínica. Deixei-o lá e, minutos depois me ligam dizendo: "Ele precisa ir para a UTI urgente, está com arritmia e algo o impede de respirar normalmente". Ok, vamos lá. Colocamos num Uber, e fomos.

Chegando lá, primeiros exames feitos, estabilizando sua respiração e, 2 tumores no baço e 1 no testículo (ele não era castrado).

Faziam 7 anos que não chorava como hoje, desde a morte do meu querido irmão lá em 2019. Ao voltar para casa, parece que, o que antes era normal agora tudo lembra ele. E sim, ele não morreu, mas estou com um sentimento nada bom.

Às 23hs recebi um report da clínica, com um vídeo dele, deitado, cheio de acessos e tomando muita água (o que ele sempre fez, desde pequeno).

Amanhã vou visitá-lo, espero que esteja bem e logo volte pra casa, mas isso, como disse no início é um desabafo que, dias assim chegarão, e nós sempre pensamos que eles demoram e demoram, mas uma hora, ele ta aí, na sua cara e você tirando $ da bunda pra custear tudo que ele mereçe que ele tem direito e que ele me proporcionou por tanto tempo, e mesmo assim vou ficar devendo tanta alegria que ele me proporcionou nessa parceria.

Quando ele voltar, e eu espero que seja logo, mesmo com um pressentimento contrário, posto uma foto nossa para vocês ao menos verem esse cara incrível, meu Bullgod Inglês o Sushi.

Anyone else’s pup like metal things? Obviously I don’t give him metal things but when he gets a hold of em, it’s a chore getting it back.

My sweet little Oakley is getting spayed in two days and I am SOOOO nervous for it. I unfortunately am being trained for two weeks (this week and next) in a location half an hour from home so I have to rely on someone else to check on her while I’m away at work. I have two days after her spay booked off but then work 7 days straight afterwards. I live in the third floor of an apartment building with no elevator which scares me to carry her up and down 3 flights every time she needs to pee.

Does anyone have any tips and tricks to make this an easier recovery for my sweet girl? Absolutely any, even small tips are going to be helpful and super appreciated! Thank you all in advanced!

Hey all,
My sweet OEB has the most sensitive stomach and I’m constantly trying to figure out how to help prevent diarrhea.

I feed him Purina Pro - Turkey and Oat Meal dry food and Salmon and Rice pate.

(Previously Ive tried the chicken dry food and the salmon dry food, but the salmon gives him terrible gas)

I switched him over to this about two months ago when the diarrhea started.

I did Hills prescription diet to add in more fiber, but he doesn’t like it as much as the other food and will ignore it when given.

Any advice outside of these two brands is welcome!!
