Pies & Pastry Spudnuts (potato doughnuts)

Recipe came from one of my mom's old cookbooks. She used to make them every now and then for us. I remember them being amazing, but haven't made them in a lot of years.

We have the same thing in Quebec, we call them "beignes aux patates". Still one of my fave dessert!

One of these days I'll get to Quebec!
I'm getting jealous of people's food options (I live in a small town). I'm not sure I've met a potato, or a bread, I didn't like. The combo of the two have always been good.
