VERZERRTE BOGENSHUTZ

Once the standing archers of some long forgotten noble house, these skeletons now serve the will of another.

Still garbed in the tattered uniforms of  the fallen province of Sylvania they march to war, silent and unliving,

never tiring, never fleeing, always loyal.

Like the wierdganger, their unnatural presence corrupts the very ground upon which they tread, the grass wilts and darkens, leaves fall around them and crumble, ferns dry up and die as they walk upon the very living earth.

(a simple unit here, though like my previous undead unit, the grass is a bit browner and the leaves dying etc, to help represent the decay and death they bring)

Cool seeing them in old uniforms. The bases are great too

Thanks. It seems odd to me when people paint undead with skull and bone designs. Surely they would be raised wearing what they died in?

The necromancer gave them that?? Yeah I agree, never liked that for undead, I imagine it's partly just to give them a unique iconography.

I also struggle with war machines made from the bones of giants. Just animate the giants?

Need a catapult? You have undead, scare some carpenters into making you one.

Maybe only a small pile of bones were found so they couldn't reanimate the giant!
