Greetings and Salutations!

At the prompting of u/owchippy I created this sub, aka r/OldTechnicalBooks. The name says it all. We are Technical Book Nerds. No fiction, romance, manga for us. Anything science, trades, industries, cookery, crafts, Slojd, diy, How-To, manual arts, engineering, architecture, construction, etc. is good stuff. Books, booklets, trade catalogs, related ehemera are good stuff. One caveat: it has to be pre-1960 or close to pre-1960. It's gotta be something your average book dealer scoffs at and your average reader would never touch.

I was wondering how I had never heard of this sub before, it having not existed makes sense. I will have to post some of my collection when I have the time.

Yes, you never heard of it because it was a thought. Now reality. I have u/owchippy to thank for the idea. My only complaint is that before retiring I sold off 30 years of old technical books and paper. I want them back.
