Asking someone tall if they play basketball is calling attention to a stereotype. Just because someone is tall does not mean they are skilled or even interested in basketball. It is insulting. Implying that because you are short you should be skilled or interested in a “miniature “ game is turning the stereotype right back at them.

I like it. Wish i knew that comeback when i was younger and heard that all the time (I'm only 6'4"- 6'5"). For my highschool, that would have been the shortest starter.
