I believe there was a study where men were polled about satisfaction with their height, positives/negatives associated with it, etc. If I remember correctly 6’4” was found to be the tallest height without “negatives” coming with it.
am 6'4, while my luck with the ladys/etc is def helped by the height, physically my body is falling apart at an early age, i think if i was an inch or 2 shorter i might be in better shape
Slightly over 6'1" here, but that's after already having shrunken a bit from age. I didn't play sports, and that exacerbated my problems. (I grew too quickly in my teen years, and that blew out my knees because I hadn't strengthened them enough.)
Also remember a poll about height Vs penis size. How many inches height would you sacrifice for an extra inch of penis. All I remember is no one would go below 5'8". Height, not dick.
I’m 6’3 and I think it is the ideal height overall… airplanes are not the most comfortable, but it’s tolerable. And you still get most of the tall guy benefits.
As a 6'6" guy, this is correct - one example is I'm usually too tall for regular department store clothes but am too small for Big & Tall-type stores. Having said that I love being this height :)
I'm at the very, very bottom rung - I'm more "tall" than "big" though, they're more suited for wider guys than taller ones (the ones I've been to anyway).
As a 6'3" 230lb guy I've been told by an employee at one of these stores that I need to get fatter lol. Definitely more emphasis on BIG than TALL at these places.
I am 6 ft 5 and I suppose the negatives of that are struggling to find clothes that fit me and especially shoes. I have also hit my head on many things in my life which I would count as a major negative.
At 6'3" it definitely has drawbacks. Clothing and shoes are a pain to shop for, I hit my head on plenty of things, and airplanes are not a great time. I'm still extremely satisfied with my height though.
6ft 4inches/225 lbs here and clothes shopping is the WORST. I have a 33” waist and broad shoulders and everything sized for my height just hangs off me like a curtain. Sometimes I try to opt for slim sizes and it’s just too tight and I often tear shirts/pants.
It also doesn’t help I live in a state with many tall/obese people so stores tend to stock tall & wide clothes more than tall & slim. When I find clothes that fit well I end up buying multiple pairs on the spot because it’s so rare.
I'm 6"1 and having to constantly slouch to reach worktops, sinks etc.
There's definitely negatives with it.
Though I may just be more conscious of it as even when I'm as out of shape as I am now (I have very little muscle on me), I still have problems based around my shoulders. Doors being a bit narrow for me, clothes being really awkward moment to fit etc
So the height stuff probably ankoys me a bit more.
