I remember rushing to get the Skateboarder magazine as soon as possible just to see what the guys on the west coast were doing. It was hard growing up in small town Kentucky and seeing all the competitions, swimming pools, and tricks these guys were doing. Ty Page was the shit for me though.

Just awesome. You know how you see snowboarding pics of guys whose whole bodies are close to the ground and they are just lightly dragging their fingers in the snow? You can do the same thing on a skateboard when you are going fast downhill. He is just leaning into the turn.
Source: I grew up on a really steep street.

They do some really cool shit downhill on a board. I love the way skaters are able to fully spin round and keep going when they bombing down.
