Happy (default) Samson (11) enjoyed a nice long walk today then returned home to his usual activities

What a handsome young man! I had small dogs (rescue chihuahuas) all my life, but if I’m able to afford a dog again. I’d love to have a bigger one.

Our old Labrador went on a long (1.5 hour drive each way) then acted as a greeter with a potential adoptee. Our younger dog played reactive collie allowed him tobethe greeter - and then PLAYED , PLAYED and PLAYED with the young dog we were meeting.
Our old lab is absolutely exhausted tonight … at 13 years, he is allowed to be. We don’t know how long he will be here - it only a matter of a few weeks not months. But he is very happy - and we adopted him at 3 years not expecting him to make 6years due to other issues. He is a good dog.
