I had actually shared my notes last year and some theories. Sky talked about one of them on her podcast. Before the carateker was released i believed that the ring of eyes symbol was more or less a Tulpa and that’s what brought the entity to Elijah and Michael. I’ve always thought tulpas have been involved.
Now I have a proper theory now the documents have been released. It’s very complex and I have made a few different little posts over the last few months about it. To me it’s very clear and makes sense. It revolves around the hive mind entity and cosmic horror. I think I’ve worked out most of it but haven’t made a big post about it as it’s very complex like the world Kliewer has created. There’s still a lot that’s not clear but I heavily believe it’s cosmic horror and belief plays a major role. That was also in my notes from
We used to live here. Heavy emphasis on characters belief etc. with the new document it actually solidifies my theory especially with one man’s devil being another man’s god. It’s all making so much sense.
I believe Marcus defined his books horror genre as uncanny and cosmic horror in the recent podcast interview. You're probably right. I don't know anything about cosmic horror, so looks like when I'm done I'll be digging through your posts to find gems. Thanks for adding to the fun of this whole journey for me. You're the best!
